7 MAY 2009, SEMI FINAL DAY

The semi finals saw an interesting buildup of players who would present entertaining encounters.
In the Girls Under 14, Saloni Ghodke edged out Rushouti Kanade 8-5. Mahima Omkar displayed great retrival skills against Rayika Karachiwala. Rayika was the more aggressive player but Mahima kept hitting all the balls back and frustrating her opponent..
In the Girls Under 12, it was Mahima again came on top against Shristi Daas. Shristi was the winner of the Under 10 category.

In the Boys Under 12, the first semi between Brent Dixon and Yash Lele was a closely contested match. Both players fighting till the very end. Yash Lele held his nerve at the crucial points and scraped through. The second semi Aditya Gokhale was too consistent for Mihir Damle and won comfortably.

Divyat Rungta got the better of Rahil Gajare in the first Boys Under 14 semi finals. The second was a one sided affair between Aditya Gokhale and Yash Lele. Aditya has too many weapons for Yash to handle.
